EN 10277-4 Grade C15R Steel – Rolled & Turned (SH) – Ideal for Vehicle & Machine Engineering

Steel C15R is suitable for parts in vehicle and machine engineering with a slightly higher core strength that are predominantly wear loaded (e.g. levers, joints, gear wheels). The steel shows an enhanced workability due to its controlled S-content. Lowest application temperature -25°C, most favorable application area 5 to 10 mm nominal size. As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
