EN 10213 GP240GH Quenched & Tempered Steel – High‑Temperature, Weldable Performance
Material GP240GH is equivalent to trademark GS-C 25 acc. to DIN 17245-87. It is used at room temperature and increased temperatures. The DIN-make shows only a low long-term thermal resistance and is therefore applicated in the range of the hot elastic limit. The well weldable material is used for turbine parts and pressure vessels at temperatures from 300 to 450 °C and mean pressure, e.g. for casings and fittings.
