EN 10312 X2CrTi12 Soft-Annealed Grade (+A) – High-Temperature Ferritic Steel for Automotive Silencers & Gas Detoxification
The material X2CrTi12 is a ferritic steel with high scaling resistance (in air up to 800 deg.) which has a certain corrosive resistance. The material does not show resistance to intercrystalline corrosion both in delivery and welded condition. Application primarily in automotive industry for silencers and for components of waste gas detoxification. The brand may be used as heat resistant steel acc. to DIN EN 10095. The welding method for the tube manufacturing is up to the producer.
