X105CrMo17 Soft Annealed Steel (EN 10088-1) – High Hardening & Wear Resistance
Material X105CrMo17 is comparable to X 105 CrMo 17 acc. to SEW 400 :1991-02. The material is a high hardenable and wear resistant steel. It is particularly suitable for small ball bearings, for cutting tools, such as butchers knives, scalpels, for valve needles and spray nozzles. Despite the higher Cr-content the corrosion resistance is owing to the high C-content comparable to 13 per cent Cr-steels.
