EN 10269 Grade 19MnB4 Quenched & Tempered – Superior Strength & Formability
The cold upsettable steel 19MnB4 is cold formable in hard rolled condition at low and mean deforming degrees and in heat trated condition GKZ resp. K+GKZ+K cold formable at high deformation degrees. Application in unnealed condition for outside hexagonal screws of strength category 8.8 in a small and mean dimensional range. Suitability for complex presswork components. Further application for mounting elements at lower temperatures.
