X2CrNiMoN17-11-2 (EN 10272) – Solution‑Annealed, High‑Performance Austenitic Steel
The austenitic steel grade X2CrNiMoN17-11-2 acc. to DIN EN 10272 : 2001-01is used for hot and cold formed rods for pressure vessels. The material shows higher strength and structure stability by N-addition. It has high resistance to oxidizing media. its interaction parameter (Pitting index) is increased by N. The steel is suitabable for mirror finishing and resistant to selective attacks particularly and in welded condition good corrosion resistant. The material shows resistance to intercrystalline corrosion also in sensitized condition.
