Lehvoss Launches High‑Performance Eco‑Compounds with Up to 90% CO₂ Reduction
Lehvoss Group, a German engineering plastics leader with a U.S. office in Pawcatuck, Conn., has just launched a new line of high‑performance thermoplastic compounds that incorporate recycled content.
The Luvotech eco range builds on the company’s proven ready‑to‑go formulations, first introduced at the 2019 K conference, and now includes recycled‑based versions of nylon 66, PPA, PPS, PEEK, PEI and POM.
Showcased at Fakuma 2021, the line delivers the same “high‑and‑reliable” performance that Luvotech is known for, while achieving significant sustainability gains. With 40 years of formulation expertise and the 25‑year legacy of its subsidiary WMK Plastics—acquired five years ago—Lehvoss can manage the entire supply chain of recycled raw materials and rigorously test recyclates.
Every Luvotech eco compound offers a markedly lower CO₂ footprint—up to 90 % when using PEEK or carbon‑fiber recyclates.
Lehvoss focuses on the upper tier of the material pyramid, delivering recyclate‑based products across the full spectrum of engineering plastics, from PC/ABS to nylons and PEEK, compatible with all processing technologies.
In the rapidly expanding 3D‑printing market, Lehvoss introduced the Luvocom 3F eco PET, boasting a 90 % recycled‑PET content—the highest recycling rate available today. The material performs reliably in both FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) and FGF (Fused Granulate Fabrication) and excels in functional prototypes and series parts for mechanical, automotive and medical industries.
Lehvoss’s eco line demonstrates that high‑performance engineering can be sustainable without compromising quality.
