Epolin, a division of Chroma Color Corp., specializes in near‑infrared (NIR) dyes and thermoplastic compounds. The company has broadened its portfolio by acquiring Adam Gates & Company LLC, a Hillsborough, N.J., manufacturer known for high‑performance NIR and laser‑absorbing dyes that deliver superior absorbance and transmission characteristics.

With three decades of experience, Epolin is a global leader in light‑management solutions across the UV, visible, and infrared spectra. The company supplies dyes, custom blends, and compounded polymeric materials to customers in more than 40 countries. Applications range from laser systems and welding to sporting eyewear, security inks, digital displays, filters, augmented reality, autonomous driving, and night‑vision technologies.
