Stratasys J750 Receives New Agilus30, Digital ABS Plus, and Exclusive VeroFlex Materials

Stratasys has unveiled a trio of material upgrades for its flagship J750 PolyJet printer. In additive manufacturing, the performance of a printer is tightly coupled to the range and quality of materials it can process. These new materials expand the J750’s capabilities, delivering stronger, more flexible, and color‑rich components for advanced prototyping and functional testing.

Agilus30 – Tougher, More Durable Rubber‑Like Performance

PolyJet’s hallmark is its multi‑material printing, particularly with rubber‑like substances across a spectrum of Shore hardnesses. Until now, the Connex line exclusively used Agilus30, but it is now available on the J750. Agilus30 offers superior tensile strength, tear resistance, and elongation‑at‑break, making it the go‑to material for applications demanding robust, flexible parts.

Digital ABS Plus – Enhanced Impact and Heat Resistance

Since the J750’s launch, Digital ABS has been a staple for high‑detail prototypes. The upgraded Digital ABS Plus now delivers improved impact strength and temperature resistance, ideal for thin rigid walls, snap‑fit assemblies, and functional prototypes that must withstand real‑world stresses.

VeroFlex – Flexible Rigid Plastics in Full Color

VeroFlex represents a significant leap for the J750. While the Vero family of opaque plastics is prized for its clarity and strength, it has traditionally been brittle. VeroFlex bridges that gap by adding a touch of flexibility to the same color palette—Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, White, Black, and Transparent—without compromising the vivid color gradients that designers rely on.

VeroFlex is especially poised to transform the eyewear sector, where prototyping is often costly and protracted. By enabling rapid, high‑fidelity, color‑accurate mock‑ups, the J750 can help manufacturers accelerate design cycles from weeks to days.

Stratasys’ continual material innovation exemplifies its commitment to delivering tangible value for its users. These upgrades not only enhance performance but also streamline the path from concept to production.
