Hamilton Sundstrand Secures 10-Year Maintenance Deal for Singapore Airlines' Airbus A380 Fleet
Singapore Airlines Selects Hamilton Sundstrand’s C.A.R.E. Program for Airbus A380 Fleet
Singapore Airlines has chosen Hamilton Sundstrand’s Comprehensive Accessory Repair and Exchange (C.A.R.E.) program to manage and maintain the technical health of its Airbus A380 aircraft.
The 10‑year exclusive agreement covers air‑management and emergency‑power components, marking Hamilton Sundstrand’s first C.A.R.E. contract for the A380.
As the launch customer for the A380, Singapore Airlines will receive up to 19 of the super‑jumbo aircraft starting in October.
The C.A.R.E. program delivers end‑to‑end repair and inventory support for engine accessories and airframe parts. Since 1998, it has serviced more than 600 aircraft and 1,000 engines across 35 global customers, including 22 of the world’s 25 largest airlines.

"We are thrilled to extend the C.A.R.E. program to Singapore Airlines’ A380 fleet."
Singapore Airlines operates a network spanning 65 destinations in 35 countries, with an average fleet age of 6 years and 5 months.
Hamilton Sundstrand’s expertise on the A380 includes original‑equipment systems such as the air‑generation system, cabin‑pressure control, actuation systems, and emergency/auxiliary power units. It also supplies engine‑control hardware—including full‑authority digital engine controls, fuel‑pump and metering units for the Rolls‑Royce Trent 900 engine, and fuel‑pump & gearbox systems for the Engine Alliance GP7000.
