GreenWood Secures Long‑Term Maintenance Contract with NutraSweet in Augusta

GreenWood Inc. has been awarded a comprehensive maintenance contract at The NutraSweet Company’s manufacturing facility in Augusta, Georgia. The agreement covers ongoing maintenance, production operations support, and construction projects.

Starting in early July, a dedicated team of 138 skilled workers, technicians, operators, and support personnel has begun working on the plant. Their responsibilities include planning and scheduling, mechanical and predictive maintenance, material handling, and operator assistance.

"GreenWood’s focus on safety and a low injury rate was a decisive factor in selecting them as our maintenance contractor," said James C. Flynn, Senior Vice President of Operations. "Their reputation for embedding safety in every project and personalizing customer relationships aligns perfectly with our priorities. We welcome them to our Augusta facility."

John Wood, President and CEO of GreenWood, added, "Working with NutraSweet is a privilege. We’re committed to building a long‑term relationship by delivering comprehensive, safe maintenance services. With this partnership, we now serve six customer sites across the Augusta market, reinforcing our footprint in the Southeast and Mid‑Atlantic.”

GreenWood provides integrated maintenance and construction solutions designed to extend the life of critical assets and deliver measurable bottom‑line improvements for plants throughout the region.
