Megger Provides Complimentary One-Day Battery Maintenance Seminars for Engineers & Technicians
Megger, a leader in portable test equipment, is hosting complimentary one‑day seminars focused on Battery Maintenance Best Practices.
Battery reliability is critical for emergency power supplies, yet maintenance is often overlooked. Without proper care, failures can occur only under load, jeopardizing operations.
The seminars will illuminate common pitfalls, explain the electrochemical nature of batteries, and cover terminology, failure modes, maintenance strategies, and testing techniques. Participants will also review emerging NERC PRC‑005‑1 and PRC‑005‑2 draft standards.
Thomas Sandri, a seasoned engineer with Megger since 1991, will lead the sessions. He has authored extensive training materials and delivers battery and cable fault‑location courses nationwide.
Three sessions are scheduled: Lafayette, Louisiana – March 23; Webster, Texas – March 24; San Antonio – March 25. Each runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Spaces are limited; early registration is advised. Contact Nicole Stokes at 214‑330‑3245 or nicole.stokes@megger.com to reserve your seat.
