Renesas Solution Starter Kit Accelerates Analog Design with 24‑Bit Delta‑Sigma ADC Precision
The Renesas Solution Starter Kit (RSSK) delivers a comprehensive set of hardware, software, and tools designed to evaluate the RX23E‑A microcontroller’s precision 24‑bit delta‑sigma ADC. Even developers with no prior analog front‑end experience can achieve nanovolt‑level accuracy when testing analog characteristics.

RX23E‑A 32‑bit microcontrollers feature an integrated AFE that measures temperature, pressure, flow, and weight with sub‑0.1% accuracy out of the box—making them ideal for industrial automation and precision measurement systems. The RSSK evaluation board includes a plug‑in terminal block for versatile sensor connectivity, a dedicated thermocouple connector complete with reference junction compensation, and RS‑485/CAN driver ICs for robust communication.
Using a PC and the kit’s intuitive GUI, users can configure a wide range of AFE and ADC parameters and instantly visualize the results through dynamic graphs and histograms, streamlining the validation process.

Power is supplied via a standard USB connection, and the board can also be paired with an emulator for accelerated application development.
The Renesas Solution Starter Kit for the RX23E‑A microcontroller is available for $464.
