Silicon Labs & Memfault Partner to Deliver Cloud‑Based Embedded Observability & OTA Debugging for EFR32/EFM32 Devices

Silicon Labs and Memfault have joined forces to integrate advanced development and operations tools with the EFR32 and EFM32 MCU families.
Through this partnership, engineers can accelerate product development, mitigate launch risks, and ship IoT solutions that are continuously monitored and improved directly in the field.
Memfault offers a cloud‑based diagnostics platform that tackles serviceability hurdles via fleet‑wide observability, remote debugging, and firmware over‑the‑air (OTA) management. The platform gives developers granular insight into device performance and fleet behavior—essentially a remote debugger for every deployed unit. Engineers can identify top‑level issues, trace root causes, and resolve problems without costly RMAs—all within a single, intuitive interface.
To experience Memfault for free on Silicon Labs EFR32 and EFM32 development kits, both new projects and existing device fleets can follow the implementation guide on the Silicon Labs Community Project.
