EN 10088-1 Grade X2CrNi19-11: Strain-Hardened (C700) Stainless Steel for Chemical & Pharmaceutical Use
Material X2CrNi19-11a modifikation of 1.4301 is comparable to X 2CrNi 19 11 acc. to DIN 17440 : 1985-07. The steel shows owing to the lowered C-content resistance to intercrystalline corrosion both in delivery and sensitized condition. Application in chemical apparatus engineering and in pharmaceutical industry, especially when high wall thickness and simultaneous suitability for mirror finishing are requested in atomic reactor technology, for parts in food industry which are exposed to organic or fruit acids, in oil, soap and synthetic fibre industry. Generally resistant up to pH-value 4,5 in aggressive agents.
