DIN 1725-1 Grade 3.0515 F – High‑Strength Al‑Mn Alloy for Superior Performance

The alloy AlMn1 is an Al-Mn alloy, which belongs to the nature-hard aluminum materials. Mn increases the strength compared with pure aluminium, but it does not impair the corrosion resistance. The alloy belongs to the nature-hard aluminum materials. A strength increase can only occur by cold forming. It is very well formable, very well corrosion resistant and weldable. In these characteristics it resembles the pure aluminium, but with the attainable strength it exceeds this. The alloy AlMn1 has a increased heat resistance compared with pure aluminium, as result of the of the Mn-additive (inhibits recrystallisation). Application: In the building industry for roofings, as outer skin of buildings, in the apparatus and tank construction as heat exchanger (bank of tubes, profiles, gilled pipes, sheet metals), for radiators, air conditioning systems, pipings for compressed gas tanks, for tanks according VdTUEV Werkstoffblaetter, as antennas for radio relay link and satellite communication (mirror) for technical flow pressed parts, for solid rivets, for generally metal-describe, in food industry (including commercial devices), in the construction of vehicles (including tank cars) and as packing (sheet metal packings generally).
